In 1947, Mr Maurice Dussaussay has created the company DUSSAUSSAY-GALLIER,
specialized in the manufacture of scissors.
Thanks to the know-how of the craftsmen of the cutllery-area of Nogent,
the mark "DG" quickly acquires a national fame in the field of the clothing industry.
During this period, the company has diversified, by proposing scissors of specific use : the tailors, the scissors of hairdresser, the traditional ones, scissors of embroidery…
In the 70's - 80's, Dussaussay-Gallier has developped various ranges
of tools : tools for rubber, electronics,
but the chisel manufacturing remains always its core activity.
In the 90's, our company has created new articles of tools for industry : scissors of electrician, multi-use scissors…
In 2008, DG widens its product range again by proposing professional shears,
poultry-shears as well as nut-crackers.
Actually, the company is directed by Mrs. BREGEAULT, Mr. DUSSAUSSAY's daughter. It counts 20 experienced employees and remains one of the last factories of scissors in France.
